آپ جانتے ہیں کہ ‘ا’ (الف) تحریری علامت ہے۔ اس کی اپنی کوئی آواز نہیں ہے جب تک اس پر اعراب نہ لگایا جائے۔ اس سبق میں طالب علموں کو صرف اس حرف کا نام ‘الف’ بتایا جائے اور تصویروں کے ذریعے حرف کی پہچان کرائی جائے۔
Aap jaante hain ke ‘ا’ (Alif) tahreeri alaamat hai. Is ki apni koi aawaz nahi hai jab tak is par i’raab na lagaya jaye. Is sabaq mein taalib e ilmon ko sirf is harf ka naam ‘Alif’ bataya jaye aur tasveeron ke zariye harf ki pehchan karayi jaye.
[You know that ‘ا’ (Alif) is a written symbol. It has no sound of its own unless diacritics are applied. In this lesson, students should only be taught the name of this letter ‘Alif’ and made to recognize the letter through pictures.]
طالب علموں کو بتایا جائے کہ اس نشان ~ کو مد کہتے ہیں۔ اس کا استعمال صرف الف پر ہوتا ہے اور ‘آ’ کی آواز دیتا ہے۔
Taalib e ilmon ko bataya jaye ke is nishan ~ ko Madd kehte hain. Is ka istemaal sirf Alif par hota hai aur ‘آ’ ki aawaz deta hai.
[Students should be informed that this symbol ~ is called ‘Madd’. It is used only over ‘Alif’ and produces the sound ‘Aaa’ (آ).]
ہر سبق میں متعارف کیے جانے والے حروف کو بار بار پڑھوایا جائے اور لکھنے کی مشق کرائی جائے۔
Har sabaq mein muta’arif kiye jaane wale huroof ko baar baar padhwaya jaye aur likhne ki mashq karayi jaye.
